Amy is a qualified Naturopath with over 10 years of experience working in the holistic health industry. She is extremely dedicated to her profession and frequently engages in professional development ensuring she remains up to date with the latest research and evidence based treatments.
Amy is passionate about supporting women’s urogenital health and works with both acute and chronic complex cases, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmunity and mental health. Having undertaken extensive training in the assessment and treatment of the gut and vaginal microbiome, Amy utilises these tools in clinic on a regular basis.
Amy supports her patients with herbal & nutritional medicine, food as medicine and lifestyle approaches alongside functional testing to aid in treating and finding the root cause of presenting conditions.
She considers lifestyle fundamentals such as quality sleep, exercise, time in nature and relaxation as essential in treating holistically and finds that supporting these areas can greatly enhance the effectiveness of treatment.
Amy has a very warm, caring and non-judgemental manner. She believes that empowerment and education are key factors in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal health.
Away from nurturing her patients, Amy loves to be in the outdoors. She and her partner made a sea change to the Mornington Peninsula several years ago, and she has been relishing the opportunity to explore the great variety of bush walks and beaches. Amy is also an avid gardener and her knowledge of food as medicine has inspired her to develop her own flourishing ‘Food Forest’ at home. Beyond simply providing nourishing food such as fruits, nuts, vegetables and herbs, she is working towards building a self-sustaining ‘micro’ ecosystem.
