Our Education Promise

by Peninsula Herbal Dispensary

We have a passion to be the best Naturopaths, Nutritionists and healthcare Practitioners we can be.

This all starts out with our initial qualifications, most notably our Degrees in Naturopathy and the Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). You can learn more about our Degree qualifications here and here.

However, whether we completed our degree 20+ years ago like Naturopaths, Kimberley and Carla or more recently like Naturopaths, Sarah and Kim, we believe it is vitally important to stay up to date with the ever growing knowledge in our industry and healthcare in general.

It is with this in mind that we pride ourselves on making our educational promise, to continue our learning in three key areas:

  • Deep-diving into the latest findings in healthcare
  • Further research into all areas of natural medicine
  • Expanding our knowledge in our special interest areas

This means we can be the best Practitioners for all our patients and we can really focus on being at the forefront of Naturopathic care in areas like Paediatrics, Fertility, Oncology Support, Mental Health, Hormonal Health and Gastrointestinal (Gut) Health.

As the new year gets underway, as a collective practitioner team, we have signed up to attend training locally, internationally and virtually.

Naturopath Sarah is undertaking further study completing the RH Endometriosis Masterclass, a three month training into clinical management of endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Naturopath Laura is continuing to learn broadly on mental health and nutrition and enjoying extensive reading in preparing for some high level professional presenting events in the coming months.

Naturopath Kim is embarking on a Clinical Research program with the initial trial assessing healthy stress responses – and envisioned future naturopathic interventions for reoccurring or chronic upper respiratory-tract infections.

Naturopath Kimberley is currently studying Inflammation Resolution and attending SARS-Cov-2 and long-term implication: A research review. As a senior team member Kimberley also takes on a keen role in the mentoring, learning and development of all of our Peninsula Herbal Dispensary Naturopathic team.

Naturopath Amy is studying extensively, attending educational events and reading scientific research journals on a wide range of gut health topics right through to genitourinary and vaginal health concerns.

Naturopath Cass has a special interest in all areas of Women’s Health and the menopausal years. Cass has been adding to her ever growing knowledge in this space with a focus on Hormones and Metabolic health in women over 40 at educational events.

Naturopath Carla is most well known for her support of patients with a cancer diagnosis and those suffering from Long COVID. With this in mind, Carla will be learning and educating others in these areas right through 2023 and is most looking forward to attending Naturopathy’s International World Congress midyear in Paris, France.
